AQUAFUN, the dedicated water attractions, pool and spa platform of ATRAX 2026, will open its doors on 15 January at the Istanbul Expo Center. Sharing her insights on the vision behind AQUAFUN and the key themes shaping the sector, Nergis ASLAN, Chair of the Board and Fair Organizer at Tureks International Fair Organization, emphasizes that water-based entertainment and wellness investments have become a strategic pillar of modern urban development.

This year, AQUAFUN opens under the theme “Serious Fun – Blue Future,” focusing on sustainability, efficiency, and technological innovation. “Water efficiency, energy savings, environmentally responsible systems, and smart technologies are now at the core of the sector’s agenda,” Aslan explains. “At AQUAFUN, visitors will clearly see how water-based entertainment is evolving into a key component of sustainable and future-ready cities.”
Beyond the exhibition floor, AQUAFUN also strengthens its knowledge-sharing and networking dimension through BLOOM ARENA – Turquoise Stage sessions. “Under the ‘Blue Future’ theme, industry experts will discuss sustainable approaches, emerging technologies, and investment visions in the pool and water attractions sector.
